...I really can't express how misguided you really are by assuming that founder of Leica Leitz Wetzlar was a Nazi simply for being german...
To put the record straight, he was a devout christian who absolutely dispised the nazis in every single facet.
Like Oscar Schindler, he made many secret efforts to save Jews from the ghettos and from the concentration camps
to work and indeed thrive in paid employment at his factories. And in fact, he facilitated and directly funded their
exodus from germany abroad to england, sweden, america and even asia to set out a new life for themselves.
Leica was NOT a nazi sympathist company by any means!
